Powdered - 1 cardamom,
Baking powder - 1 tsp,
Flour - 1 tsp,
Sugar - to taste,
Powdered milk - 1 cup,
Liquid milk - 1 liter,
Vanilla essence - 1/2 teaspoon (you can also give rose water), to garnish with pistachio nuts.

Mix sugar and liquid milk in a large heavy pot and let it boil, add cardamom powder. Keep the flame very low. Now mix powdered milk, flour, baking powder in another bowl, beat the egg and add to this mixture. Serve with vanilla or rose water. Mix everything together nicely, don't apply too much, just mix everything. At first the mixture will stick to the hands and become sticky, but if you leave it for 3/4 minutes, you will see that it has become pretty tight, it is not sticking to the hands anymore. From here, make small balls. Don't make it too big, if you make it as big as marble, you will see that the balls are doubled in size after giving milk, so make small balls. Do not stir with a spoon or anything, let it boil for a few more minutes. You will see that the balls are swollen. Reduce the heat further. Now, keep it on low heat. Cook on low heat for ten minutes. Occasionally, shake the pot carefully so that it does not stick to the floor. After ten minutes, pick up a sweet and see if it is cooked inside. If it is too raw, cook for a while more on low heat. If there is a little bit of rawness, turn off the heat and cover the pot with a lid, it will cook better in the heat inside. If you want to thicken the malai a little more, you can put it on low heat for a while, just shake the pot a little from time to time so that it does not get stuck on the floor. Serve chilled with rasmalai, spread pistachio nuts on top of sweets before serving.
